Information campaign for citizens about the Lisbon Treaty, the EU policies and the new right to European citizens’ initiative.
The purpose of the project proposal is to conduct information seminars between NGOs working in the civil sector on the new right and the development of an internet-based platform for collaboration and future initiatives. An emphasis will be given to an exchange of ideas on how NGOs working for the civil rights will encourage the use of the new right of citizens' initiative provided by the Lisbon Treaty. How they intend to facilitate the actions of the civil society to take advantage of the new instrument. Strengthening citizen participation in the formation of the European policies is of particular importance for the future of Europe.
We are looking for partners from EU countries, who are interested in the Youth field.

I know I should probably send an email to the contact person and ask his but I'll try my chances here: What is a partner supposed to do? I have a teenage son and I'd like to able to help his generation and make sure that a least a few of these kids will have a secure future instead of doing drugs and waste their lives.

Association European Projects is an organization which is trying to bring out awareness among people about their rights and Lisbon treaty. It is a Non-Governmental organization based in Bulgaria. The people are not properly aware about the policies and their connection with their rights. So it is very important to tell them about the consequences of the Treaty and its plus points. The participation of the public in the making of the policies by European Union is very crucial.
This is a very nice project. People need it. I'm sure people will like to attend such information seminars. I often attend different seminars myself. Thanks to you a lot of people will learn about Lisbon Treaty and this is very nice!
