Introduction:
The Cross Border Arts Project aims to promote inter-cultural dialogue in Lebanon, Palestine and Israel through the participation of four artists/performers from the Euro-Mediterranean region (two EU countries; two Mediterranean partner countries). The Cross Border Arts Exhibitions aims to display the work carried out during and as a result of the Intercultural Arts Tour (15th July –15th August 2007) by the five Euro-Med artists working with local artists and communities in Lebanon, Palestine and Israel, in an endeavour to explore the possibility of using artistic expression as a means of dealing with experiences of conflict and war and - whenever possible – trying to establish constructive relations within and among the involved communities.

(a) The Art for Social Transformation Workshop, 18 – 29 June 2007, Biella- Italy.
(b) The Intercultural Arts Tour, 15 July – 14 August 2007 in Lebanon, Israel and Palestine.
(c) How Free is Art: Artistic Expression in Post Conflict Societies Symposium, 12 – 13 November, Beirut – Lebanon.
