Future Worlds Center (www.futureworldscenter.org) has pioneered for at least a decade in the promotion of Structured Democratic Dialogue as a methodology to promote universal values of freedom, democracy, citizenship and democratic participation, as well as a means to capitalizing from the collective wisdom of the relevant stakeholders. Over the years, Future Worlds Center has organized an impressive number of workshops engaging youth, women and migrants from different communities at the local, national or international level.

In Cyprus, Future Worlds Center pioneers in the promotion of peace building and reconciliation between Greek and Turkish Cypriots, for example through the Civil Society Dialogue or the Local Authorities projects:
FWC is currently implementing at least TWO very important projects:
a) the Act Beyond Borders project actively engages civil society actors from Israel and Palestine to collaborate on jointly developed community action projects that aim to foster mutual understanding, to promote and advocate for the implementation of Human Rights standards in the region. This 3-year, almost 1 million euro project has already mobilized and trained dozens of civil society actors from both sides of the conflict who are working together for peace.
b) Teach Millennium Development Goals is a pan-European project aims to increase awareness and public support for the Millennium Development Goals by actively engaging teacher training institutes, teachers and students in developing local-oriented teaching resources promoting the MDGs with a particular focus on sub-Saharan Africa and integrate these into the educational systems of European countries.
Last but not least, members of Future Worlds Center have published more than 100 public and scientific reports. Moreover, they have published some books, which demonstrate their pioneer work in promoting universal values of freedom, democracy, citizenship and democratic participation.
