Brief description: 

Every fortnight, a drop was sent by mail to the people who had subscribed. Simultaneously the link to the drop was published on the Intranet accessible to all Ghent-City personnel.
Format: mini-quiz with multiple choice questions.
Very diverse subjects: eg. - What is commemorated on the International Day against Racism? - Non-verbal behavior in Portugal... – What is the origin of the expression “world music”? - Where did Saint Nicolas live? - Where does the 22nd cycle race of Burkina Faso start? etc..

Main Outcomes: 

2008 was the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue, an initiative of the European Union aimed at enhancing understanding between cultures. The City of Ghent enthusiastically took part in this year’s theme by launching the action: “Intercultural Dialogue-drop”. The methodology of Intercultural Dialogue drop served as a glue between the many activities, events and projects that were dedicated to the year of Intercultural Dialogue

There was no external funding and the drops were made by the person responsible for Communication at the Integration office.
