Brief description: 

An Arabic documentary film of the internationally-acclaimed story of Imam Muhammad Ashafa and Pastor James Wuye, religious leaders who were also leaders of opposing militias that pitted Christians against Muslims in Kaduna region, Nigeria. Imam Ashafa lost close family members in the fighting, and Pastor Wuye lost his hand. Today they work together to promote peace in local communities across Nigeria through the Inter-Faith Mediation Center they founded together. Their story was made into a stirring 39-minute award-winning documentary called The Imam and the Pastor, which was premiered at the UN Headquarters in New York in 2003, then dubbed into French and German. Adyan foundation published the Arabic version of the film.
