In response to the rapid democratic changes within both the national and regional scenes, the Second Round of “Ecrire la Méditerranée”, which will take place from 27 to 30 April in Alexandria, provides a platform for sharing and exchange between 20 writers and intellectuals from the Mediterranean region.
The Forum tackles these new challenges, enriching- through this literary debate- the present turning point, leading the southern Mediterranean societies to reconsider their positions.
The Forum is a co-organized by the French Institute in Alexandria and the BA, with the support of Centre Méditerranéen de Littérature and the Anna Lindh Foundation, and with the participation of Alexandria University, Senghor University and le Centre d’Etudes Alexandrines, in cooperation with TV5MONDE, France 24, Monte Carlo Radio and Ugo Magazine, and under the auspices of the Cultural Council of the Union for the Mediterranean.
