The Swedish Institute in Alexandria is is launching a series of debates under the heading 'The New Egypt Debates'. The first topic to be debated is 'Religion in Politics?' on the 7 July 2011 at the Ewart Hall, American University in Cairo, Tahrir square, from 18.00 to 19.30 pm.

The debate will be moderated by Tim Sebastian, from the BBC Hard Talk and "The Doha Debates".
