From the 25th to 30th April 2010, an international training seminar ‘Articulating Values’ is taking place in Vienna with the participation of twenty-two schools and youth groups from a range of Euro-Mediterranean countries including Austria, Denmark, Hungary, the Netherlands, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey.

Speaking about the upcoming initiative, Rebecca Zeilinger, project leader from Austria’s Interkulturelles Zentrum, said: “We are setting out with the aim to use culture as a tool to build bridges between minority groups and the wider population within the countries of the Region, breaking down stereotypes about asylum seekers and refugees”

The participants who are attending the seminar will have the opportunity to take part in writing and drama workshops, with the challenge of putting together a final performance to be presented at the end of the programme to the general public.
