Civil society representatives from over 40 countries will gather in Brussels for the annual general meeting of the Anna Lindh Foundation’s Heads of National Networks.

Co-organised by the Anna Lindh Foundation and its Head of Network in Belgium, the King Baudouin Foundation, the meeting will focus on debating the proposed strategy and guidelines for the next phase of the Foundation (Phase III from 2011 to 2014). The meeting will also be an opportunity to assess the Foundation’s achievements in 2010, a year which has seen the first Anna Lindh Forum – gathering more than 1000 civil society to Barcelona – and the launch of the Anna Lindh Report on Intercultural Trends.

The Heads of Network are based in the 43 countries of the Union for the Mediterranean, and the meeting agenda will also feature an assessment of civil society network development within the different areas of the region, as well as the development of tools and support mechanisms for developing and implementing intercultural projects at the local, national and regional level.
