André Azoulay awarded International Mediterranean Forums Prize

President of the Anna Lindh Foundation, André Azoulay, was awarded, on Saturday in Monaco, the 2011 prize of the International Mediterranean Forums Prize.

The distinction was awarded by Prince Albert II, who commended Azoulay for his steady efforts to promote peace and cultural diversity and highlight the richness of the Moroccan identity.

On the same occasion, the Anna Lindh Foundation's action to help countries in the southern Mediterranean region in their political transition was also hailed.

The prize awarding ceremony was attended by eminent figures from the realms of politics, academy and diplomacy representing different Mediterranean countries.
