Following the success of last year’s ‘Farah El-Bahr’ Cultural Festival, which brought together over  5000 people, organisers have announced that the latest edition will take place from the 4^th to 5^th November at the historic Qaitbey Citadel in Alexandria.  The 2010 Festival will include international artists from the two shores of the Mediterranean, including Spain, Germany and Egypt, a major cultural parade, and a programme of intercultural workshops targeting children and young people. In the lead-up to the big weekend, which is an initiative of the Anna Lindh Foundation, local NGOs and social groups will be involved in debates on the theme of ‘Citizens of Diversity’.
