The Italian Head of Network, Fondazione Mediterraneo, is preparing a major forum with social activists, ex-combatants and cultural operators from different parts of the Euro-Mediterranean region, including Ireland, the UK, Israel, Palestine, Cyprus, Italy and the Balkans.

The aim of the meeting is to increase the social impact of advocacy work related to non-violence in communities effected directly by conflict, and one of the featured groups presented at the forum will be ‘Combatants for Peace’, the joint Palestinian-Israeli initiative which was awarded the Euro-Mediterranean Dialogue Prize in 2009.
