The Senate Committee for foreign affairs, security and defense of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and the Council for International Affairs (organization in application process for ALF membership) organized the conference on the theme of contribution of Milan Kundera and his literature for understanding European status.

The director of our Institute Mr. Petr Drulák was one of the panelists as a kind of link between cultural and political science scene. Thematically touched the debate main objects of ALF – contribution of culture to dialogue and identification of different cultures and nations.

The commentaries were made by prominent experts of the Czech Republic for literature and journalism some of them living abroad (Antonín Liehm, Martin Petráš).
