YOUNG BOSNIANS PROMOTING TOLERANCE AND SOLIDARITY

From 28 to 30 October 2009, the Youth Resource Centre Tuzla, Head of the Anna Lindh Network in Bosnia and Herzegovina, launched an awareness campaign engaging youth participation’s in social life and promoting tolerance, mutual work and anti-discrimination among local communities.

• The campaign entitled “Youth: responsible - tolerant”, which is taking place in the framework of the Anna Lindh Common Operations in the framework of the Network Strategic Development Scheme , aimed at promoting democratic values, and increasing conscience about youth needs in local communities

• It consisted in printing and distributing posters, t-shirts and flyers including “youth messages” at the most frequent places in the country

• In total, the campaign covered 20 cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina where youth and NGO activists distributed materials and organised 5 central street campaigns including entertainment program in the Bosnian cities Doboj, Bratunac, Brcko, Priboj and Bijeljina

• The campaign has been organised together with 15 member organisations of the Anna Lindh Network in Bosnia and Herzegovina
