Launch of the Anna Lindh Mediterranean Journalist Award 2013

Journalists of Written Press, Television, Radio and New Media, citizens of the 42 countries of the Union for the Mediterranean are now invited to submit their works for the 7th edition of the Anna Lindh Journalist Award until the 30th June 2013 (12.00 Egyptian time, GMT+2).

Submitted works should tackle intercultural issues between and within Euro-Mediterranean societies. In addition a special award will be dedicated this year to the theme ‘Arts for Democracy and Social change’. A jury made up of eminent media professionals and outstanding intellectuals will select the 5 winners to be awarded during a prestigious awarding ceremony. Date and venue will be announced in the coming weeks. The winners will receive a cash prize and will be involved in Anna Lindh Foundation’s regional activities during a whole year.
