This foundation is responsible for grant aid in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. The UK branch supports funding programmes in Arts, Social Change and Education, and Anglo-Portuguese Cultural Relations.

There is a national limit of 15 000 pounds to any one grant. Proposals are considered in the first week of March, July and November. Papers have to be finalized 2 month in advance and initial proposals need to be submitted at least 10 weeks before.
