IREX is an international nonprofit organization providing leadership and innovative programs to improve the quality of education, strengthen independent media, and foster pluralistic civil society development. IREX activities encompass three focus areas: education, independent media and civil society.
IREX activities in the Middle East and North Africa support academic and professional research, provide study and internship opportunities for professional businesswomen in the Middle East and North Africa, foster the development of civil society and professional media, and support basic, secondary, and graduate educational development.

Grant Opportunities

IREX programs have advanced the education and expertise of over 20,000 scholars, professionals, and students for nearly 35 years.
