The Hellenic Parliament Foundation was created in 1999.
The objectives of the Foundation are to conduct research into and promote parliamentary institutions and democracy, to support efforts to improve Greece's standing internationally, to promote the interests of Greeks worldwide, to help cultivate the historical memory of the Greek people in general and younger generations in particular, and to foster cooperation between the nations of the world.
With these aims in mind, the Foundation:

• assembles, sorts, and utilizes relevant data with a view to producing related studies or commissioning such studies from third parties.
• organizes a variety of events and activities, including exhibitions, conferences, and publications.
• supports the building of closer relationships between the Hellenic Parliament and both foreign parliaments and international organizations.
