L’Institut Goethe est une organisation culturelle à but non lucratif travaillant à l’échelle internationale pour le compte de la République Fédérale allemande et avec le soutien de celle-ci. L’Institut est également le Chef de File du Réseau National allemand de la Fondation Anna Lindh. Sa mission principale est la promotion de la langue allemande à l’étranger, de l’image du pays dans son ensemble, et d’encourager la coopération culturelle internationale comme moyen de diffuser des informations sur la culture, la société et la politique allemandes, en créant et en soutenant des évènements et échanges culturels et en proposant des formations adaptées.

La Fondation fournit un soutien logistique et opérationnel au Réseau National en Allemagne à travers le Programme de Développement Stratégique des Réseaux (PDSR). Pour plus d’information, veuillez vous référer au document “PDSR Etape 4” dans la colonne des Ressources à droite. Ce document éclaire sur les principales responsabilités et services à fournir par le Coordinateur du Réseau envers les membres jusqu’au 31 aout 2011.

En dessous des Ressources, vous pouvez aussi trouver d’autres documents importants pour le Réseau, tels que : les Règles de Fonctionnement Interne du Réseau, la Liste des Membres et les Résultats du Sondage des membres du Réseau 2010. 

Le Réseau allemand compte 121 membres. La plupart de ces organisations travaillent dans les domaines de la jeunesse, des arts, de la démocratie, des relations internationales, des ‘gender studies’, des questions religieuses et de la recherche.

Combatants for Peace Tour

From 8 to 15 May 2011, six representatives from the 2009 Euro-Med Dialogue Award Winner, Combatants for Peace (CfP) Civil Movement will make a tour in Kiel, Berlin, Weimar (Germany) and Kreisau (Poland). The Tour includes presentations by the members of CfP, participation in youth workshops, visits to concentration camps, and meetings with ALF German Network members.

This tour is supported by the Anna Lindh Foundation in the framework of the Network Support Development Scheme and coordinated and funded by radius of art / HBS in cooperation with Kreisau Initiative and Go 40.

The Combatants for Peace Civil Movement was started jointly by Palestinians and Israelis, who have taken an active part in the cycle of violence; Israelis as soldiers in the Israeli army (IDF) and Palestinians as part of the violent struggle for Palestinian freedom. After brandishing weapons for so many years, and having seen one another only through weapon sights, we have decided to put down our guns, and to fight for peace.

Mediterranean on the Spot

"Mediterranean on the Spot" is the common action of the German Anna-Lindh Network in 2011. It is a decentralised  programme of events such as lectures, panel discussions and cultural events with guests from Egypt, Algeria, Israel, Palestine, Tunisia and other countries. Whereas some events deal with the current changes in the Arab World, others take a look on the every-day life. The diversity of events reflect the diversity of the German network which assembles today more than 150 organizations working in the Euro-Mediterranean cooperation.

The opening event of the programme takes place in Stuttgart on the 4th of April 2011, 7pm at the Institute of Foreign Cultural Relations: Prof. Fawzi Boubia (University of Rabat) and Prof. Bernd Thum (University of Karlsruhe) will discuss the interrelations between culture, science and politics within the Mediterranean area.

A major debate on the principal findings and proposals of the Anna Lindh Report 2010 organised by the German National Network

On the 20th September, in the city of Karlsruhe, over one hundred civil society representatives gathered for a presentation and debate on the Anna Lindh Report on Euro-Mediterranean Intercultural Trends.  Organised by the Goethe Institute - Head of the Anna Lindh National Network in Germany – and opened by the Major of Karlsruhe, the event inspired discussion on key themes connected to the Report, including: the impact of daily work with migrants; responsibilities of political decision-makers; the role of families in intercultural dialogue policies; and the question of the religious phenomena as an obstacle or opportunity.   

‘Berlin Allstars’ und HipHopper aus Ägypten, Frankreich und der Türkei begeistern Alexandria

Mehrere hundert Besucher kamen zum ersten Euro-Mediterranen Hip-Hop Konzert in der traditionsreichen ägyptischen Stadt und erlebten, wie kulturelle Brücken in der Region entstehen.

Am Abend des 18. Juni 2010 erlebten Hunderte junge Alexandriner und internationale Gäste in den Villa Antoniadis Gärten ein kulturelles Großevent bei dem junge Menschen eine Stimme gegeben wurde, initiiert von Anna-Lindh-Stiftung, dem Goethe-Institut und dem französischen Kulturzentrum.

Andreu Claret, Executive Director der Anna Lindh Stiftung, welche in 43 Euro-Mediterranen Ländern aktiv ist, sagte in seiner Begrüßungsrede:

“Diese beispielhafte Beteiligung junger Menschen an einer solchen Veranstaltung zeigt, dass Kultur und besonders Musik eines der wichtigsten Elemente ist, um Menschen unterschiedlicher kultureller Hintergründe zusammen zu bringen und ihren Glauben in den Dialog zu stärken – für ein dauerhaftes gegenseitiges Verständnis und eine Kultur des Friedens in der Region.”

Das gemeinsame Konzert der fünf Bands war das Ergebnis einer Woche von Workshops mit 23 jungen Hip-Hop Musikern aus Deutschland, Ägypten, Frankreich und der Türkei – und endete mit einem gemeinsamen Konzert in dem zusammen geschriebene Texte zu hören waren.

Daniel Stoevesandt, Leiter des Goethe-Instituts Alexandria, der Organisation, die auch das deutsche Netzwerk der Anna-Lindh-Stiftung koordiniert, sagte:

„Brücken zwischen Kulturen und Künstlern aufzubauen und zu beleben, ist zentraler Aspekt unserer weltweiten Aktivitäten. Daher war uns gerade an Workshops und gemeinsamem jamming der Künstler aus diesen vier Ländern gelegen, um ein langfristiges und tiefer wirkendes Ergebnis zu erzielen, gleichzeitig aber auch der breiteren Öffentlichkeit Gelegenheit zu geben, zu hören und sehen, was Euro-Mediterraner Dialog ist.“

Die deutsche Band ‘Berlin Allstars’ hat sich über das Berliner Straßensozialarbeitsprojekt Gangway Beatz kennen gelernt. Dies spornte sie noch mehr an, mit ihrer Musik Mauern einzureißen und soziokulturelle Probleme anzusprechen.

Nach dem Konzert sagten die beiden ‘Berlin Allstars’-Musiker Kavek und Josh:

„Wir haben viel an Erfahrung gewonnen. Hauptsächlich die Erkenntnis dass wir nicht so unterschiedlich sind, egal woher wir kommen. Die Musik, die wir zusammen schreiben wird lebendig, auf der Bühne und durch’s Internet, und wir hoffen dass wir auf dieser Erfahrung aufbauen können um mehr Projekte gemeinsam zu realisieren.“

Die ‘Hip-Hop Connection’ eine Initiative, welche außerdem vom Türkischen Konsulat und der Europäischen Kommission in Ägypten unterstützt wurde, ist Teil eines Langzeitprogrammes der Anna-Lindh-Stiftung mit Unterstützung des Goethe-Instituts, Kunst und Musik als Mittel zum Aufbau von Vertrauen in der Region zu nutzen.

Die ‘Berlin Allstars’ werden eingeladen, ihre Erfahrungen im Rahmen des deutschen Netzwerkes der Anna-Lindh-Stiftung, welches vom Goethe-Institut koordiniert wird, weiterzugeben.

Germany’s ‘Berlin Allstars’ share centre stage in Alexandria with young hip-hop artists from Egypt, Turkey and France

Hundreds of people gather in Egypt’s historic city for the very first Euro-Mediterranean Hip-Hop Concert for Dialogue aimed at rebuilding trust between people across the Region

On the evening of 18th June 2010, many hundreds of young Alexandrians and members of the international community in Egypt gathered in the famous Villa Antoniadis Gardens for a major cultural event supported by partners including the Anna Lindh Foundation and the Goethe Institute, and aimed at giving a voice to young people in the Region.

Speaking at the opening of the event, Andreu Claret, Executive Director of the Anna Lindh Foundation, which operates in 43 Euro-Mediterranean countries from its headquarters in Alexandria, said:

“The unprecedented level of youth participation for such an event demonstrates that culture, and in particular music, is one of the most important tools we have to bring people together from diverse backgrounds and to rebuild trust in dialogue as a way to long-term mutual understanding and a culture of peace in the Region.”

The public event was the culmination of a week-long series of intercultural workshops with twenty-three young hip-hop artists from Germany, Egypt, Turkey and France, with the concert in Alexandria offering the first opportunity for the groups to deliver a joint performance.

Daniel Stoevesandt, Director of the Goethe-Institute in Alexandria, the cultural institution that also heads the Civil Society Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation in Germany, said:

“Establishing bridges between cultures and artists is the focus of our activities worldwide, and therefore jamming sessions and workshops between musicians from these five countries are essential for a substantial outcome and to ensure that members of the wider public have the chance to see, hear and feel what ‘Euro-Mediterranean’ looks like.”

‘Berlin Allstars’ are already making a name for themselves in Germany where they originally came together through a social project involving Rap Stars and Berlin youth and which inspired their collective desire to use music as a tool to break down walls and address socio-cultural issues.

Speaking after the concert, ‘Berlin Allstars’ band members Kavek and Josh said:

“The experience has been incredible. Firstly in terms of having the chance to get to know other artists from the different countries of the Region and secondly in terms of taking part in a live performance with so many people from across Egypt. The experience makes us more motivated to involve German young people in having a voice on the international stage and using music to fight against stereotypes and misunderstanding.”

The ‘Hip-Hop Connection’ initiative, which has been supported also by the French Cultural Centre, Turkish Consulate and European Commission in Egypt, is part of a long-term cultural programme the Anna Lindh Foundation and the Goethe Institute are putting in place with the aim of using arts and music as a way to rebuild trust between people in the Region.

‘Berlin Allstars’ will be invited to share their experience back in Germany through the Anna Lindh Foundation’s Civil Society Network, headed by the Goethe Institute, which currently brings together over 120 member organizations, including schools, youth groups, universities, think-tanks, artistic groups and cultural institutions.
