Project purpose
The overall objective of the action is to qualitatively improve social and cultural integration among vulnerable or disadvantaged youth groups in Damascus, and to contribute to the broader cultural exchange between Europe and Syria with important links also to Afro-Brazilian arts and culture.

Scope
Project duration: 6 months
Beneficiaries: 320 children and adolescents from disadvantaged communities in greater Damascus, ca 1200 community members, and 3 institutions (one hospital, two youth reformatories)
Total cost of the action: 70,250 €
Share of total cost provided by CapoeirArab: 13,750 €
