Religious and cultural itineraries in the Mediterranean: WebTV and portal
We would like to apply for the EUROMED AUDIOVISUAL III programme, deadline 01 June 2010. We are looking for partners for the following project.
This project would promote intercultural and interfaith dialogue through promotion and visibility of the famous religious pilgrimages and cultural places (Christian, Muslim, Jewish etc.) in each country that participates in the project, always in the spirit of understanding and acceptance. The Web-TV and portal would be constantly updated with relevant news and other audiovisual material and would be supported by actions such as workshops, meetings and other events, e.g. festivals. Social media and new communication technologies would be employed.
We are looking for partners from the following countries:
Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Syria and Tunisia
The partners could be production companies, news agencies, public institutions, and other organisations that deal with audiovisual material, and promotion of intercultural dialogue.
Given that the deadline is 01 June 2010 these partners would be strongly preferred if they already had the PADOR subscription (which they would have if they already participated in any of the other Europeaid programmes)
