The Head of the National Network in Denmark, the Danish Center for Culture and Development (DCCD), is proposing the theatre play "Do you know my World", as part of My World IMAGES festival. Six Palestinian refugees from Zarqa camp, Amman, Jordan tells their story. The show is about young people's own lives and the stories they all bear inside but that are difficult to share.
In addition, the photo exhibition "Modernity in our lives" will be presented to the public. The exhibition is the result of a photography competition for young Palestinians aged between 18 and 30 years, launched by the Palestinian Art Court with the support from the Center for Culture and Development. The photo competition deals with a typical issue for many young Palestinians, namely to find a foothold in the transition between tradition and modernity.
The event will also include a round of "speed dating" in which network members will have the opportunity to meet each other, briefly introduce their organizations and explore partnership possibilities.
The event will take place on Monday 6th September at 12:00 to 16:00 at the Betty Nansen Theatre.
