Turkey Third Sector Foundation (TÜSEV) was created in 1993. TÜSEV is a network organization for the nonprofit sector formed in 1993 by Turkey’s leading foundations. The TUSEV network is comprised of over 100 Turkish foundations and nonprofit organizations. This foundation supports organizations serving grant makers, and strengths the operational, legal, and fiscal infrastructure of the third sector in Turkey. Their aims are to grant make and operate international foundations and NGOs who operate in or plan to work in Turkey.

Its objectives are to develop the human, financial and technical capacity of non-profit organizations, to promote a legally and fiscally enabling environment for non-profit organizations, to encourage a culture of philanthropy and strategic grant making, to facilitate partnerships across the public, private and third sectors and to support & engage the international community in learning about and collaborating with Turkish third sector organizations

Its programme area is: NGO Law Reform, Research on the Sector, Networking/Partnerships, and Training. The Foundation participates in international meetings and conferences and networks and organizes regional and international meetings and conferences within Turkey.
