« I consider that all of us are close but we still do not know each other very well. In this regard, the media plays a central role in not only reflecting the public opinion but also in shaping it, helping to bridge the gap in mutual understanding.
We live in a privileged time when we can have access to everything we would wish to know, everything we would wish to learn, and yet all inventions do not come with ethical instructions for use. There is always a way of expressing oneself that does not imply hate of the other, and we need to each find out how these new powerful tools should be used.
How do you consider the new tools of communication can be used for closing the gap in mutual perceptions between people on the two shores of the Mediterranean? »

I think the distance is not problem. And you can talk what you want to share to your listeners. We must reapect others' privateness.
Blogging allows for the expression of ideas and the dissemination of stories that traditional media are not interested in and which they believe ' often wrongly - will not interest their readers.
Social networks have become such a huge part of where we get our information from, with around one third of Americans getting all their information from the internet.
