Adyan Understanding is an intercultural project gathering partners from Lebanon, Jordan, Poland, Italy and France.

The overall objetive is the development of a better mutual understanding regarding the cultural dimensions of religious issues between and within Arab and European societies. It does so through fostering Cross-Cultural Teaching About Religious issues in youth education.

An online portal will act as a platform, providing e-courses as well as teaching and training resources on the themes of 1) Christian diversity in the Middle East, 2) Intercultural and Inter-religious dialogue and 3) Muslim diversity in Europe. The target group of the project is young leaders and multiplier who will integrate the concept of CCTR in their practices.

The activities include the conception and construction of the adyanonline portal, the creation of the teaching and training resources under the supervision of the scientific board of the project, developing pilot courses, training of facilitators and a final conference on CCTR concept.
