The Dictionnaire Critique de le Mediterranee (Dicomed) programme aims at the construction of a 'world of common significations' in the field of Mediterranean studies.

Dicomed is a critical dictionary and a scientific reference, with entries treating the main issues relevant to the Euro-Mediterranean region. It is available in French (350 entries), and the main aim of the programme is the translation into Arabic (350 entries) as well as the production of a concise version in English (120 entries). The translations will be produced through a collaborative work method among the partners, which will allow a comparative and transcultural treatment of the different concepts presented
