The initiative, which is developed by Egypt-based Al Wan, centres on the production of a one hour documentary film about the role of women in the development and future peace of the Middle East region. The content of the film includes the interviews of fifty women and several NGOs who are working on gender issues from Egypt, Israel and Palestine, with views on the Arab-Israeli conflict and perspectives for peace, especially in the light of the historic speech of President Obama from Cairo.
