Farah El Bahr 2010

This year, the Anna Lindh Festival enters a truly new phase with international bands arriving from Europe, a wide selection of workshops, film screenings and discussions, an international parade, the involvement of contemporary and traditional artists and the projects of the ALF Egyptian network members.

The festival will be FREE for all with no entry fee, it is supported by the Egyptian Tourist Authority within the framework of Alexandria as the Capital of Arab Tourism with additional sponsors including amongst others the Spanish Embassy, UNESCO, the Belgium Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Goethe Institute, the British Council and the French Cultural Institute.

Starting at the Anfushi round-about, the parade will walk along the promenade with acts including a brass band, Brazilian drums, clowns and street theatre with artists from Italy, Holland, Poland and Palestine.
