Discovering Diversity seeks to foster social cohesion in the Euro-Med region through promoting mutual understanding and combating stereotypes in relation to migrants.

The project will develop an educational methodology and resource materials that highlight the complexity of local community histories with a focus on the stories of first generation immigrants.

The main target group is history and civic education teachers. Authors and experts from Morocco, Turkey, Slovak Republic, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Poland will work together in three workshops to develop the resource. They will then pilot the new educational material in their countries. A website will be developed where the learning material will be made available.
