Union for the Mediterranean : A Utopia or a Reality?

André Azoulay, President of the Anna Lindh Foundation will participate in a debate on the prospects of the Union for the Mediterranean to take place on the 23rd of June in Casablanca, Morocco. The debate will focus on the main challenges that face this project launched at the initiative of the French President Nicolas Sarkozy in July 2008.

Representing one of the main cultural institutions of the Union for the Mediterranean, A. Azoulay will present the achievements of the Anna Lindh Foundation in supporting civil society organizations who aiming to promote a better understanding among people living with the Mediterranean region.

Will participate in the debate a number of diplomats and decision-makers in the region, who will discuss economic, security and strategic challenges that face Europe's ambitions in the Mediterranean region.

The symposium is organized by the International Social Observatory and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Morocco, in partnership with Management School and EuroCham in Morocco.
