From 20 to 22 April 2009, the Anna Lindh Foundation is jointly organizing with the Head of the Tunisian Network, Centre de Carthage pour le dialogue des civilisations, a residential seminar on creative writing. The Seminar will take place in Tunis and is hosted by El Teatro, Espace d’art et de création, a member of the Tunisian National Network.

The seminar is one of the activities of "A Sea of Words" project, which was granted by the Foundation in the framework of the 1001 Actions for Intercultural Dialogue with the objective of contributing to foster dialogue between cultures, exchange of knowledge and experiences between different local and national traditions. The project is aimed at the exploration of new approaches related to intercultural dialogue that can lead towards an opening of our social environment, contributing to foster a more dynamic and varied society in which young people, the future generation, can play an important role in promoting mutual understanding between different cultures which live together in the same shared space which is the Euro-Mediterranean region.
