COMBATANTS FOR PEACE

Combatants for Peace was founded in 2005 by Palestinian militants and Israeli soldiers who decided to put down their arms. CFP is a bi-national organization committed to non-violent activism. It is a volunteer movement that solely relies on the energy and time of unpaid activists. They have over 2000 supporters from Israel and Palestine and more than 600 active members who regularly participate in their activities. It acts upon the belief that only by joining Israeli and Palestinian forces it is possible to realize the vision of ending the Israeli occupation and establishing a Palestinian State alongside Israel. HISTORY IN ACTION PROJECT TEAM

The History in Action Project Team is composed of 55 transnational and inter-ethnic team of historians and history educators from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia who showed a great sense of responsibility and civic courage in working together towards a renewed understanding of history education as a tool for reconciliation and peace in their countries, and who succeeded in overcoming ethnic, religious, linguistic divisions in order to elaborate a common history textbook for the region. THE ISRAELI COMMITTEE AGAINST HOUSE DEMOLITIONS

The Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions (ICAHD) is a non-violent Israeli direct-action organization established in 1997 to end Israel’s Occupation over the Palestinians. ICAHD takes as its main focus, as its vehicle for resistance, Israel's policy of demolishing Palestinian homes in the Occupied Territories – over 24,000 homes destroyed since 1967. It attempts to reach the wider Israeli society with its message of a just peace. ICAHD has a long history as an advocate for Palestinian rights and for a just peace between Israelis and Palestinians, as well as forging close working relationships with Palestinian organizations and communities. ISRAEL’S WOMEN NETWORK

The Israel Women's Network (IWN) is a non-profit organization of women united in their determination to improve the status of women in Israel, regardless of political affiliation, religious outlook or ethnic origin. Established in 1984, the IWN was the first Israeli organization dedicated to promoting women's rights and equality. IWN was granted consultative status by the UN ECOSOC in 2006. IWN is committed to changing the social context and norms that prevent women from assuming their rightful place as equal partners in Israeli society. Read more
 
 

THE PARENTS CIRCLE FAMILIES FORUM

The Parents Circle – Families Forum (PCFF) is a unique grassroots organization, whose power stems from the collaborative work of its members – more than five hundred families, half Israelis and half Palestinians – who have lost immediate family members to the conflict. The main mission of PCFF is to prevent further bereavement, in the absence of peace; educate for peace and reconciliation; to influence the public and the policy makers – to prefer the way of peace on the way of war … etc. Read more
