The event takes place annually, focusing on a different value each year. In 2007, the focus was on peace and unity. In 2008, focus was on repentance and reconciliation. Social, educational, and religious leaders as well as groups and individuals, gather on that day to remember and celebrate a common value, and also to confirm their adoption of it. The event starts with a prayer, where Muslims from all communities pray together, and Christians from all communities pray together, in different but adjacent locations. Then all meet in the same amphitheater and listen together to religious choirs from both communities, to testimonies of people, or even watch a small movie representing a testimony. The event ends with the final message.
The messages of 2007 and 2008 as well as the pictures, are found on the website of the foundation: www.adyanvillage.net.
