The Portuguese Network gathered the 30th of May at the main office of the CAM, in Mértola, Alentejo. 18 participants from the network attended the meeting with a representation of 11 organizations from the network.

The meeting included a presentation of the Anna Lindh Foundation to the students of the Master "Islamic Portugal and the Mediterranean" and a discussion of the latest projects and activities launched by the Foundation.

In addition, one of the most important issue discussed was the definition, organization and planning of the Portuguese Network Common Action for 2009.

The Head of Network is currently consulting the members regarding the joint operations for the year 2009 – 2010. More news will follow with regards to this matter.
