A writing workshop was organized from 8 to 7 May by Assabil Organisations, member of the Anna Lindh Lebanese Network, for the nine winners of the annual competition “Sea of Words”, supported by the Anna Linhd Foundation with its Spanish Head of Network IEMED.

The workshop aimed at providing creative exercise to write short stories in French on intercultural issues with specific focus on the “peace and coexistence”, the theme of the 2009 ‘Sea of Words’ short story contest which successfully involved National Civil Society Networks in nominating and promoting the leading short stories by young writers on Euro-Mediterranean issues.
