On 17 August 2010, Members of Anna Lindh Foundation Turkey Network from various cities like Ankara, İstanbul, Çanakkakle, Eskişehir and the other stakeholders gathered in Istanbul. The meeting was held at the Anadolu University Guesthouse, Istanbul – Turkey. The meeting was organised by Association of Civil Society and Development Institute and funded by the European Union.

The inaugural speech of the meeting has been done by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Necdet Timur, vice president of Association of Civil Society and Development Institute. On his speech, Mr. Timur has given information about Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) mission and Barcelona Forum. Association of Civil Society and Development Institute conducted a survey among the Network members (hyperlink to results attached) which was funded by the EU. One of the outcomes of this project was the production of a publication which represents a directory of the ALF Network members in Turkey.
