Meeting of the Higher Officials of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Union for the Mediterranean
Krakow, October 20-23, 2011
In October 2011, the International Cultural Centre in Krakow, the co-ordinator of the Polish network of the Anna Lindh Foundation, will take great pride and honour in hosting the 10th Meeting of the National Co-ordinators of the Anna Lindh Foundation representing 43 countries of the Union for the Mediterranean. Moreover, the ICC seat will welcome the Secretariat of the Anna Lindh Foundation (including the Director and President of the ALF) as well as representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the before mentioned 43 states – the Higher Officials of the Union for the Mediterranean and the members of the ALF Board of Governors. The events were officially enlisted in the calendar of the Polish Presidency by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting will offer a unique opportunity to wrap up the activities of the period about to end and to prepare an action plan for the upcoming phase covering the years 2011-2014. The ICC wishes to share some of the Polish achievements in the field of intercultural dialogue (including the activities of the members of the Polish ALF network) with individuals from 43 countries of the Union for the Mediterranean who represent a variety of institutions from the region (public institutions, NGOs, universities and research centres, regional and central authorities).
