Welcome to the Austrian National Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation

About us:

Dialogue between cultures is one of the tasks of the department within the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, the nominated Head of Anna Lindh Network in Austria. In practice it means managing social, ethnic and religious pluralism and diversity within and between our increasingly vulnerable societies for sustainable peace, stability and prosperity. Austria has a long and successful tradition in dialogue initiatives of religions and cultures and has been broadening and intensifying her dialogue activities in recent years, focusing on the issues of women, youth and media.
To date, the Austrian network includes 24 organizations. Most of these institutions work in the areas of arts, international relations, human rights and research
